Every time we take out the coach, something "happens" and we are still learning how to react, fix, reboot, etc. Two items that came up on our latest trip:

1. While traveling and to keep the coach cool in 90+ weather, we run the generator and the top AC units. On the last two trips, the generator has shut off on us near the end of the trip (one was 5 hours long, the other just 2 1/2) which immediately heated up the coach. I check the trip and all was good. When I tried to restart the generator, it cranked find but would not catch. Fluids seem fine. On way home today in cooler weather, no problems. Thoughts?

2. Our passenger side awning has an auto retract if the wind kicks up. It did this on our first evening out on this last trip and when we tried to extend the next morning, it wouldn't. I later started the engine to do a re-level and after shutting off, out of curiosity, tried the awning again. And this time, it worked fine - extended and retracted fine. So, when the awning auto retracts, is there some sort of reset that requires an engine restart or was this just odd luck?

Thanks!

I'm guessing that your generator might have simply overheated, and shut itself down to save it's own life...
But I don't know anything about self-retracting awnings... :nonono:

1. did you allow the fuel tank to fall to 1/4 or less? It's also 'possible' you could be seeing some shutdown for 'overheating', but that would typically render a fault 'code' as well, although you could not restart it seems to lean that way.

2. not sure, but a quick view of the manual might shed some light on 'automatic' retractions and any associated 'triggers' or resets involved.
