Redwood 36 RL Awning LED Lighting

I have a 2014 Redwood RL36 and i turn the lights on for the awnings but nothing seems to light. Is there some sort of photo cell on them or what? Has anyone any info on how these work. I did not get any info in my operating manuals for the trailer plus I could not find nothing on line

Also, it was the first time I took our trailer down a gravel road more then 15 klms When we got to campsite and open up trailer found it was very dusty on back end of trailer. Is dust coming from slides or frameless windows?

Very new to our Redwood, Bought April 15th, first time I opened the awnings I did not open them all the way and could not see the LED light strip on the roller.

I know I did that too by now I've got it open on both awninings so I can see ie LED strip lighting bu when I turn the light switch on I do not see them lit up So I guess I will wait till it gets darker out

Does anyone know out there if there is a fuse somewhere for the LED Awning Lights They do not seem to be powered from the awnings power plus is there only one switch operating the LED Awning Lights as I have two awnings

Only one switch, turns on both Awning LED Strips. Our switch is together with the Porch Lite and Scare Lites.
You might pull the switches and check that all the wires are secure. Our Living Room Awning quit working, pulled the switch and found the fast-on connector had come off. I've also found a few fast-on connectors with a poor crimp letting the wire pull right out.

I will check that out. As I did come across a situation like that with one of our light switches in the bedroom. It seems they used the wrong type of crimping tool to crimp wire connectors

I hope these comments get back to Redwood RV to help them make their products more superior. I'm happy with our unit it's just these little things if they were done proper we would not be having these issues

Your info found me the fuse block for the awning lights which is in behind the switch. My problem was a blown fuse. Replaced 5 Amp Fuse and everything works well
