Hi, We are looking for a new 5th wheel and have chosen Redwood. Has anyone had any axle issues!

I've got about 20K miles on my 7K axles and no problems. I just returned to CA and drove threw LA which has some of the crappiest roads in the US. Some areas of I5 were so rough I found it hard to brake and slow down when going down hill. Opened up the RW when we arrived North of the city and found everything road just fine. Amazing....

Thank you everyone! We are looking at ordering the 2015 38GK with upgraded axles to 8000. We own a Crossroads Cruiser Patroit Edition now and have less than 4000 miles and have lost axle 2 times. First one Lippert paid for and this last trip home we had to pay for it. So any information is valued. We have been told by rv dealer that the FIT system is Dexter and not LCI. We are confused as to what is what now! We found out the FIT system is owned by LCI. Thoughts and comments are valued! Thank you.

Congratulations on your Decision! We love our Redwood. Now go find a new Dealer............classic example of words coming from the lips that say what you wanted to hear. FIT is nothing more than a façade that says we use 100% of the components from a single manufacturer or it's subsidiary companies so we can ensure compatibility and control access to parts

We have the 8K axles and we did have a spring band separate, but Redwood took care of it. Isn't that weird, the guy that answered the phone for the parts said he was "Lippert" :)

Now I speak for our purchase 1 year ago, and things may have changed, but if you want to find out for yourself just crawl under a brand new one and read the axle tag.
