When our dealer placed our 38GK order on January 20th, we were told about 10 weeks wait time. Dealer told me today our coach should be in tomorrow...WOW...just over 7 weeks!

I know there are others on the forums who have placed orders recently and were told about 10 weeks. I hope everybody get their coach in a little over 7 weeks. Just wanted to give a heads up to others who are waiting, that it might be sooner, but please don't come after me if your coach takes longer!

Mine took almost 118 weeks to ours since I first wanted it, but only 6 weeks after I ordered it :)

I'm not sure, but I was told that if an inventory unit is started on the line and it meets your specs, its yours wherever it falls in line and the inventory unit order will go to the back of the line.

They used to be much slower. I ordered min in Jan. 2012 and didn't get it until the second week of April 2012. At that time I believe they said they were producing 5 per day.

I'm going to order around May 15th and need it by August 15. Shouldn't be a problem. I retire in Oct 10th. I think that will give me enought time to get it sorted out and back to the dealer if needed before fulltiming.

Don - Enjoy the coach when it arrives. Dropped ours off at Fraserway a couple of days ago when we got back from the US. Installing a Shaw dish and fixing a couple of minor issues.

We're getting pretty stoked. Got the M2 here now. We've got the black and silver on the trailer and it's going to be a very good match with the silver truck. Truck going in next week to get a ramp made up for Merlin.

What M2 and is Merlin an animal. We visited Windish RV in Denver this afternoon. This is the 38gk that we looked at the RV show 2 weeks ago. They had it all prepped for delivery and allowed us to visit it one last time. The rv was beautiful. We got experience this rig hooked up to shore power with all systems turned on and operating. The couple that bought it were taking delivery in a couple hours. The heater was so quiet!!!!!

Hi Andy
Saw your rig at Fraserway while we were chatting up the guys going to be working on our unit when it comes in. Nice looking rig. Who did you get to paint the names on the side?
We were thinking of doing something like that with our's. They did a Nice job. We were also wanting to get personalized plates for the truck and trailer but ICBC says no to both.
Lets try to connect for coffee before you head out north. We'll be here till June/July latest.

Hi Jay
We got ourselves a freightliner M2 Sportchassis to pull our new 38RL. Merlin is our 120 lb Gordon Setter. His sister Bella, a pug/bishon cross weighs in at whooping 25lbs

Just got an email from my salesman, he was misinformed, our 38 GK just went to paint. So, guess the 10 weeks wait is back on the table.

Sorry to hear this.
Hope I'm not the bearer of bad news with this info
We were told there are only 3 drivers that can bring them into Canada. We heard ours sat at the transport yard for over a week waiting for a driver.

Brad, No VIN# yet. Wonder how our salesman was "misinformed" about delivery, and just what was he when he told me a week ago that our coach was in paint. And he wants us to come in this week to finish paperwork to save time at the PDI. Sorry, I'm not going to pay until I inspect.

Don - Judi did it with vinyl letters, way easier than painting. This is consistent with how we did ship's names in the shipyard. No more stencils or painting.

We are heading down to Vancouver overnight on Wednesday 26th and then flying to Fort Lauderdale on the 27th, not returning to YVR until July 1st.

How about giving us a call 604-463-4707 and we can set up a day/time to meet for tea and a chat.

Don - Wow that is one big Gordon. We also had Gordon's many years ago, now GSD & yellow lab.

Ya we got the push too - under the guise of loosing good financing. The problem is, if you close on it, you own it and you are insuring it for transport. We even got the push for a car ordered last year.
