Redwood Rally -2012

We were originally going to be at the Rally on Friday on site C60. I just got around to calling them about coming in on Thursday as well but our site will not be vacated in time for us so they're putting on site C54 for Thursday night and then we'll move for Friday to our original C60

Chuck, I took I-84 to I-80. Stayed overnight in Woodland, PA. Then I-80 all the rest of the way. Light traffic & Speed Limit 70. Few lane shifting & construction projects but they didn't cause delays.

I discovered that no matter how considerate we drive, tons of truckers don't like us (shocker). They probably think we're like "Thurston & Lovey" going on vacation. Ha Ha

To all attending, Redwood is sending Brian Emmons, Linda Aleman, Tech people & Manufacturer's Reps here on Friday beginning at 2:00 until 6:00 or 7:00PM.Edited by: 5th_Time

Should be there tomorrow for cocktail hour after pulling into site C59.
We are in Dunnville, ON right now getting ready to spend our 2nd night in our new bed!
We both thought the bed was simply wonderful. Not to soft ... not too hard ... just beauty.
Added a jug of DEF into the F350 and pumped a bunch of grease into the suspension and fifth wheel hitch fittings. Will pull out AIS ... 8AM! Just gotta get my 83 year old mother-in-law up and about!

It is getting exciting! We set up in Twin Mills (E19) on Wednesday. This afternoon we came in and saw two Redwoods! Can't wait til Thursday to meet up with everyone!

Well. If it wasn't for bad luck we would have no luck at all. Wed morning. We leave to go to rally. 20 min out the eng light comes on and the message "reduced power" call Onstar, went to nearest dealer. We will fixer up. Rental car home. Thursday, pick up truck. Fixed, 10km down the road and engine light again. Back to Kitchener and go to my dealer. Yup truck broken. Injector pump. Ok that was the long story. To make a long story shot. We ain't coming. Have fun you all. We were so looking forward to meeting every one, but when truck breaks you don't fuss around.See ya all next year at the rally

Royce, many Redwood owners are here and the cocktail party was really fun - being able to meet so many of us that add to the forum every day. I'm parked here with KR2011 (Bryan), and DAVE&GINNY on one side and TALL PINES (Ian) on the other. Such nice people.

Tomorrow, Redwood is starting their agenda by sending Brian Emmons (Tech Mgr) Linda Aleman (Service),Technicians & Manufacturers Reps here for lunch, then servicing 5th Wheels at the campground, and then seminars all day. Saturday, factory breakfast, plant tour & then tour the 2013 models.

When I was at Redwood Weds having my RL serviced, there was a 2013 38BR and a 39HH being assembled.
