Redwood RV Club

We live in a small park in Loveland Colorado and a Redwood pulled in a week and half ago. We keep trying to see if they are home or out and they are out a lot. Their tags say Texas so might be in beautiful Colorado for the spring, summer, and fall. Edited by: Rooksfive

I looked at that park last summer while I was in Boulder on a business trip. I thought it looked like a nice park. I'll be out there to see you sometime this year

So is the club established?Has anyone contacted the factory to see if they would sponsor the club? What about bylaws, newsletter, etc. I would be glad to assist in those endeavors. My email is coljdm60@gmail.com

I would like to welcome all new forum members. This forum is such a progressive group with a vast amount of RV knowledge and experience. I look forward to visiting with members each day and hear their stories.

I have been in contact with the factory and have talked to Alexandria Trusov. She has recently been added to marketing and Doug Richards told me that she is the one that we will co-ordinate our efforts with to get this club going. She just returned to the factory after a long field trip to meet the dealers. I asked her to give me a call after she catches her breath and gets settled into her new position. She wants to be helpful be we must understand, we aren't her number one priority at this juncture. We need to be patient and give her a little time.

You should see their offices and how they have to multi task, its amazing they can get anything accomplished.

My wife and I are in for the idea of ROCI. Live in Bowie TX 80 miles N of DFW or 50 miles S of Wichita Falls TX.

Please count me in and keep me up to date. In South Carolina nowbut will be in Texas soon..........

Ben, we will be in Texas in November through Mid March. Very excited to come back to Texas for an extended stay. Left in 1990 and have only been back for a few week long visits. Love the southern hospitality. If you are around Fredericksbueg or Kerrville we should get together this winter.

I am in a little town called Swansea at the moment. At the JellyStone Park at Riverbottoms.
It is family owned and very well maintained. I will be traveling to Galena Park Texas (Houston) for work in June. I will be working to find a suitable RV park in this area close to work to avoid the daily traffic grind.

In Kinards you will be 78 miles or so from me. I would recommend Dreher Island State Park while up that way (Chapin Area). It is on Lake Murray and beautiful. However, there are only a few sites that can accomodate a Redwood. Sites #70 and I think 94. They put me in site 44 but i was unable to swing the front of the truck around due too many cars in the tent campers parking area across the street from the site.

Everyone will stare asand clap after you have succesfully backed in. Then ask many questions about your RV.

Rooksfive,

Sounds good, if we end up being to far we could meet somewhere and and enjoy the weekend. Maybe even have an impromptu Redwood Owners gathering.........
