Redwood Siting - Gunnison, CO

Went to get groceries this morning and saw a Redwood sitting behind the Safeway store. Unfortunately the folksdeparted before I was out of the store so I didn't get a chance to say hello. Areyou one of the folks on this forum.

We are staying at Mesa RV Park 3 miles west of Gunnison.

My husband saw a black andred RW headed toward Bastrop on TX State Hwy. 95 today. Bastrop is about 40 miles east of Austin, TX. Don't know if it's the same one we saw about a week ago headed east on TX State Hwy. 71. Looks like we're starting to see more Redwoods on the road.

Where are you going to stay when you go to Mesa Verde? We are thinking of heading there late fall.

We have reservations at Mesa Verde RV Resort near Mancos, CO. It is within a 1/2 mile of the park. It appears to be a nice location based on reviews that I have read.

I also saw another Redwood in Gunnison this afternoon. That makes 4 of us Redwood owners in Gunnison in this past week.
