2015 38RSSB3 - the exterior bottom of the bedroom slide has a 'cut' in it. I purchased this unit about a year ago and had an inspection. No cut was noted during the inspection, which I did attend. Over the past couple of weeks I noticed a musty smell. Is there a process I should follow to dry the wood. I pressed in several areas around the 'cut' and the floor is solid. What material should I put over the cut?Thank you for all responses.

Pictures would help. Is this cut in some type of fabric covering in the slide bottom? If it wasn't there before then some searching for a reason it's there now is in order. Perhaps an errant screw has decided to cause trouble?

Below is picture of the cut. I live in it fulltime and do not plan to move it so I'm looking to repair the cut. The covering is metal. Cut has rust on the edges. Should I use silicone?

That looks too precise to be random. Is there anything above that one might need to access (plumbing)? Or does it rub on a roller or skid or something similar that is misadjusted? Of course these are just guesses...

It might be helpful to look at the slide out supports under the slide. It may be roller or skids. It should help explain what you see.
