Resealing flange at city water inlet

I have to remove my city water connection on my 2019 Freedom Elite 22he tl repair check valve. It is a flush mount flange. The video I watched said to put butyl ethyl tape on backside. Where can I get this tape? Do they sell it at HD or Menards? Also, do I use regular silicone caulk around the outside of the flange after it is reattached?

The tape they talk about is the same stuff you get when you put in a roof vent or such on an RV. If you don't have access to any (check your local RV dealer) I'd suggest some black silicone sealant under the flange.

HD carries butyl tape as well. No need for silicone.
