Residential fridge ??

My residential fridge is not working, the no fault plug kicked off, I reset it and now the fridge and plugs in charging center in bedroom and dash plug r not working...is there another breaker labeled fridge or is there a 12v fuse connected.
Any help appreciated

Explain "the no fault plug kicked off"

Your fridge and all those receptacles are on the Automatic Transfer Switch in your inverter.

Is your inverter on?
Have you checked your inverter for a tripped breaker?
Is the breaker in the Power Center that goes to the AC side of the inverter tripped?

Do you mean the GFI plug tripped? If so, they are known to go bad (with or without an actual fault). And the GFI outlets many RV manufacturers use are probably the cheapest (read least reliable) ones available. Try replacing it (remember to disconnect from shore power & shut of your generator first).
 
Do you have a true residential fridge that only operates on 120V AC, or an RV/marine 12V compressor based fridge?

Yes it is a residential fridge. And the inverter is behind the breaker and fuse panel. I can see the fan but it is not working I tried turning off sp but fan is still off..the breaker in the panel is for a converter not inverter.
 
I suspect that you have an inverter with a built in transfer switch. If AC is available either from shorepower or the generator, the inverter just passes the AC through from the AC input to the AC output. If there is no AC available the inverter uses the DC input, inverts it to AC and then transfers it to the AC output.

So, check to see if AC input is available by checking the voltage at the inverter’s AC input. If you don’t see a voltage there and AC is available elsewhere, then the problem is with the AC input circuit.

But even if you measure no AC input to the inverter it should still be inverting DC to provide AC at the output.

So measure (with your meter set to DC) the DC input terminal. If no voltage then something is wrong with the DC circuit, maybe a fuse or breaker trip.

If there is DC voltage input but you are getting no AC out as measured at the inverter’s AC out terminals, then something is wrong with the inverter itself.

This is why I was glad my 1000 watt inverter got damaged. When I replaced; I bought one at 1/3rd the cost, more than twice the wattage (2200) and above all came with remote displays; so I can always see the input DC voltage and output AC voltage. Heck my wife can tell me.


If OPs fan does not come on, his inverter may be shot. Even if ambient temp was cool, the fan should come on for a little while when 1st turned on to verify it is working.

You also have one for the Inverter but it may be labeled as simply as "Circuit 1" or "Drivers side" or "Refrigerator".

Thank you I will look for the breaker but I think I only have one labeled converter.i have what I believe is the inverter behind the breaker and fuse box and I believe it has a converter in the storage bin in the front on driver's side.in all the spec sheets I have seen it only lists a converter,but all sheets are not the same thanks. I can not see any name brand on the inverter on light or breaker.Tux

Ok by following advise from this forum I got my fridge and most of the plug ins working.the reset was on the front of the inverter or converter it was not by the breakers and fuse panel under the bed but in a front storage compartment in the driver's side.now I cannot reset the GFCI switch.I try the test button and nothing the red reset is in and will not reset. Is there a way to reset the GFCI if I take the plug out. The GFCI may be finished thanks for all the help Tux

Don't assume the GFCI is not working. Be mindful that you may actually have a fault and it is simply protecting you and your family.

Find everything on that circuit and unplug it. Of it resets, then plug things back in one at a time to isolate the fault.

Dk good advise I have nothing plugged in to any of the plugs .do I have to disconnect wires on each of the plugs one at a time to isolate each plug.
