Today is my first day of retirement. Moving from DE to Ocala, FL on 04/01 and plan on doing a lot of camping this year and every year after.
Goodbye Tension Hello Pension.

Congratulations. Today is also my first day of retirement. After 49 years with the same company I am definitely going to enjoy more time in the MH. Wishing you a long, healthy and happy retirement.

Congrats! I am on a countdown, as of today I have 71 weeks and 7 hours to go! lol

Congrats to you to! enjoy and forget about everything!

Congrats! Welcome to the club. My wife has 13 weeks left and counting the days. Lots of camping in the future. My only problem is I'm getting lazy because it's too easy to put off chores till tomorrow.

Ha Ha, Ain't that the truth.

Congratulations. I’m two years on and SO many people predicted I’d be bored silly in six months but quite the contrary - it’s awesome. We camped in our trailer my first summer but learned how much we loved touring and bought the MH a year ago. It is a big change and a lifestyle and financial learning curve but just amazing. Do it while you can!

Congrats!!! I retired last July 1 and it has been a great "ride" so far... and I retired early, at only 56. I figure life is too short, go out and see the world and enjoy it while you can.

Congrats! I retired two years ago and haven’t had a moment of regret. Like others, I was told I would get bored retiring at 55 1/2, but I haven’t. Welcome to the club!

Also congrats. Retired nov 2017. Just doing some consulting work now. Time goes fast an have lots to do. MH travel still no. 1

sending you waves of jealousy from my way..... :whistling:

seriously, congrats!

I have been dreaming more and more about that lately. One of these days I guess I need to sit down with a financial guy and figure out when my day is so I can start counting down like the rest of you folks. My equation is complicated though, with young kids still at home and a wife that runs a small business so she can't get good insurance....

Welcome to the world of, every day is Saturday!! I've been living in that world for over twelve years & love it.

My wife retired Friday and I have 19 months until I retire forever. Looking forward to the day I donate 20 suites and 300 ties to my church clothing bank. I will NEVER put on another tie after that. I might even grow a ponytail, if I have any hair left in 19 months.

Congratulations! :D:D
