Roller blinds failures

I have a 2018 Chateau 31E. I've already had the roller blinds over the sofa and the kitchen area replaced because they woudn't stay down, and now the rear bedroom blind has the same problem. The metal bars on the bottom of these blinds also rattle on the window frames while driving, so they seem like a poor design and poor quality overall.

Have others had these issues? Is there a better option for blinds?

You must have gotten double springs...mine won't go up. They eventually came down...the entire assembly over sofa finally came down. Tiny little screws holding them up. It's on my list of little issues for the Wakarusa visit on 12/10. Looking forward to it. They told me they would do a complete "tune up" on everything in the coach. I could get these small things fixed at a dealer but why go through the hassle. The road trip will be fun and I have friends close by to visit.

There are dials at the ends of the blinds that you can turn to tighten the springs. This might help yours go up.

My whole blind/valence assembly came off at the rear bedroom window. I reinstalled it with some bigger screws.

I'm thinking of getting some custom blinds made without the metal bar that rattles while driving down the road.

They are laying on the bed right now...as much as I paid for this thing...they can do it. I didn't know about the dials...I may try that with the set over the dinette but you can't reach them with the valance in place. I'll add that to the list.

For the clinking while driving issue, I had some self stick felt pads left over from adding to dining chairs and cut them in half and stuck them on where the shade bottom hits the window frame. No more clinking.

All of the shades on my Miramar came with those pads all ready in place. Don't know if it was a Thor deal or if my dealer did it. Either way, I'm glad it's there.
