Hello to all:
Have been on this site many times since we decided to look at Redwoods. There is a wealth of info here and thanks to all who have contributed.
My bride and I are about to embark on this new adventure. We know we will be learning a ton of new things in the coming months and we are excited to get started. We have been talking about and planning for the RV thing for about 5 years and now we are here.
With a new grandbaby in CO and a couple in TX we decided it was time to RV. The need to be close to them grandbabies offers us the kick-start we need to get rolling. So for the 1st year or so we are gonna primarily be going back and forth between the two states so we can watch them babies grow. That's the plan for now.
I'm still working but I've worked from home for many years. Add to that a fair amount of airline travel. So I'll just continue to work from "home" and just take my trips from the nearest airport. As for my bride... For now she is gonna mainly be a grandma!!
We have acquired a gently pre-owned 2013 36FB. The owners took great care of this unit and for the most part looks like new. We have since become proud owners of a nice F350 with the 5th wheel prep package. Really excited about getting two together for that 1st road trip.
The bride and I plan to hit the road in about a month along with Boudreaux, the wonder dog, and Miley, the very appreciative stray pup.
Any advice offered from the Forum is well appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike & Patti
