I had a call from my dealer and told me that we had to bring our trailers in once a year to the purchase dealer to get roof inspected, any truth in this?

Yes. Read your Redwood Owners Manual. All coaches must be inspected every year to validate the warranty.

I don't think you are required to return to the selling Dealer, it just has to be an authorized Redwood Service Center

I doubt that insurers would want to do annual inspections of the roof. I can't speak about in the US, but I have never been asked in Canada & I'm an agent. Most agents wouldn't know what to look for.

I wouldn't take mine back to the purchase dealer to have them check the air in my tires. The Texas dealers, "Explore USA", seem to have tons to sell, but not even a tin shed for a repair department. A 10 amp fuse shut my jack system down. Couldn't move, period. They told me I should have purchased the extended warranty and I would have had towing. I asked how it could be towed with the jacks down. This turned into a rather heated argumet and was barred from returning to any of the Texas Explore USA dealerships. Does't effect me any since I wasn't planning to anyway.

Ha ha. In the states, the agents don't go up on the roof to inspect.
The insurers ask for a dealer's inspection that the roof has integrity and checked for leaks. No inspection, no coverage for water damage.

The manual 10 Amp fuze is a Bussman 22310-000 24VDC 10Amp S25. Haven't had a problem with the hydraulic system since I installed it.

One thing I discovered is not holding the extend/retact switches too long after the slides go in or out. That seems to blow the automotive fuzes.

Heard from Redwood that we don't have to go to dealer where purchased, any authorized will do.

The fuse is located in the battery compartment in the wiring bundle on the right side about half way up in the back of the bundle. It should be in a small plastic housing.

It blows when you hold the extend/retract slide switches too long.Good luck.
