Hello, I just thought it would be good to put this information out there. Especially seeing that Dicor isn't informing us about this problem.
My 2015 sunset trail looks like it has CHICKEN POXS. 🙄. I called Crossroads, they said I needed to call Dicor. Ok I called Dicor, GLAD THAT I DID. Well I got some good news and some bad news.
Good News is they admitt that some of the campers had a bad batch of covering on the roof. Not the membrane but the thin piece of covering that covers the membrane. So after speaking with Don, (Dicor) he agreed to HELP me with the problem. BAD NEWS... Don said that he would send me the materials and $2700.00. It cost much more to have a roof replaced. Anyway I had NO choice but to take what they were offering. My camper is in the shop getting repaired right now.
It's sad that Dicor knew about the bad batch but decided to wait until the customer called with the complaint before they would offer to fix it. (At less than half the cost). Anyway so,if you have roof problems call Crossroads and ask before fixing it yourself. Thank Eleanor

Roof bubbles

Nunu,
Appreciate the pix and information. I recently noticed the same thing on my 2014 sunset trail 30bh. They are like blisters. I was afraid to touch them thinking they may break open and let water under the rubber membrane. After reading your post, it sounds like this is actually a coating over the rubber membrane. I’ve never looked up what my roof warranty is, and would like to know how you managed to get dicor to pay/contribute to the repair. And is that 2700 intended to cover the rubber membrane as well as the dicor coating?

Hello, if the membrane is damaged, they will pay more. I just called them up and spoke with Don, explained what was happening. Sent him pictures and serial number as requested. Found a repair shop that would do the labor for 2700.00, had the repair shop contact Don so they could get the materials out to them. And Don paid them, I never saw the check or the materials.

Nunu, for myself and others...thank you for sharing your story and the follow-up. Frankly I think it’s ridiculous that something like the integrity of a roof isn’t covered fully for 10 years.
