A few weeks ago my wife and I were traveling to a job in West Texas, our rubber roof membrane peeled back. After arriving I cut away the loose portion and glued it back down with spray adhesive and taped it down as well. We’re currently parked under a covered RVLock spot. Insurance can’t and won’t help! Second roof, replaced in 2018, no help, due to it not being inspected annually, hard to due being full timers. Going to replace it with Armor Flex, in the meantime any ideas on temporary repairs? Please see photos. Thanks!

call your spray on roof guys and see if they can take you right now. I am sure the answer is no but maybe they will say by some Dicor roll-on two-part roof ing and they can spray over it when your appointment is available. Hard to suggest something not knowing what is compatible for them to go over. bottom line you dont want it to get wet the plywood typically isn't exterior glue .

there is 4 rv armor dealer in texas , call around maybe one has time to get it done, ASAP.

I have nothing to add.... except this- those pictures are EXACTLY why I take 6" eternobond tape and place it from side to side over that front transition piece...

I remember when I was new here, a long standing member had that happen to them and I was sick for them over it... My wife and I now kill time while driving looking for the dreaded "roof bubble" on campers going the opposite way..... You would be surprised just how many we see on travel days... AND unfortunately there is no way to tell them as your both doing 60 in opposite directions.

Mine did the same thing 3 years ago. And it had already been replaced twice. I was very lucky when I got to Prescott AZ, Flex Armor had just started up here. They have a shop in TX as well. I love the new spray on roof and it’s pretty much bulletproof!

Roofing problems solved!

Just a follow up to my previous post. We were able to get the coach to DFW RV Roofing in Denton, TX on Monday, they removed most of the rubber membrane, installed two new max air fans, sprayed flex armor ( including bathroom skylight), painted edges dark brown! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL JOB! No more caulking, no more treatment, lifetime warranty! Basically same price as a rubber roof replacement! Highly recommend!
