Hi everybody,

I have a 2015 sunset trail. I tow with a 2010 f150 and a 2015 Escalade. Last week brakes stopped working coming down i70 near evergreen. Noticed OL on brake controller ( overload short). Then noticed running lights also stopped working. Got home changed to my work vehicle to tow camper to storage and had the same problem. Found trailer light fuses blown on both vehicles and replace. Problem reoccurred. Turn signals and brake lights still work on both vehicles. But not camper brakes or running lights still.
Brought home to trouble shoot. Plugged in to shore power and turned on ac as I always do just to get heat out. Breaker is tripping at house and it never used to do this. No other appliance or lights are on on the rv.
Checked battery connections and replaced all fuses in rv. Help!

Start looking at all connections...inside converter , inside juncrion box for 110 v , where plug for truck goes into the kunction box on the tongue. There has to be a shorted wire somewhere.

It's possible that one of the brake wires is shorted out behind the brake drums.

Watching....I have a 2014 32BH that the upper marker lights stopped working. I ended up extending a ground from a cargo compartment light to get them operative as it has to be an issue in wiring that one cannot get to without disassembling the underside covers. I also have brakes that seem anemic so I think I might have a ground issue someplace. Let us know if you figure out the issue!
