I just bought a used 2023 Sanctuary that did not include the sewer hose. There is an exterior stowage compartment that I would like to use. I am having trouble finding the right part that will fit in that compartment and would like the make/model of the required fittings to attach to dump station end. I am not handy and don’t want to adapt anything. I want to buy the parts that work. If anyone has the original equipment that came with this model, can you share a photo and description (e.g., extended length, retracted length, diameter, permanently attached fittings and removable fittings) of the set up?

(Notes on what I tried so far: I called Thor and they sent me pictures of various parts and could not tell me which are actually the right parts. I ordered a couple different things already: 1. 10’ retractable hose had permanently attached fittings on both ends. This won’t work because one end needs to be small enough to fit into the 3” diameter compartment. 2. 20’ retractable hose with only one end permanently attached fittings. This won’t work because it’s too long for the compartment. I searched for a 10’ retractable hose with only one end permanently attached fitting and have not found it.)

Thank you!

Can the 3" compartment be changed to a 4"? It seems like the most common size hose ends are all designed to fit into 4" openings (like the common 4" square rear bumpers).

Our ACE doesn't have a 4" bumper or a compartment specifically for the sewer hose. I use a 10' hose with the end fittings attached and coil it in the compartment where the waste valves are located. The hose we have also has storage caps that fit in the ends so no leakage as it rides in the compartment.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I can’t change the compartment. This is a 19’ van - maximizing every inch 😉

If your hose compartment is like mine on the 23 Tellaro, it is pretty much worthless. Three inch white pvc behind a plastic door in the side of the van. The pictured hose is all that will fit. That is, without the one end. I ended up removing the pvc because it was more of an obstruction than anything else. A hose like that is worthless in my opinion unless you want to do a Robin Williams impersonation from the movie “RV”.

If you do want to use the one fitting style hose, simply cut the 20 footer to the length that works. Cut the spiral wire with a wire cutter and then slice around the vinyl. A 10’ footer is probably available at Walmart or Amazon. The better option is to get a real hose and keep it in a lidded plastic bin.

Actually probably 4" pvc but in any event, the hose diameter fits but fittings do not.

Same thing on my 2017 Citation.
I'll be removing that hose container and finding a bin that fits the hose and fits in the wet bay.
What were they thinking?
The tap set is supported by the hose container, so I have some reconfiguring to do.
