So my question is which vendor is better, RecPro or Shop4Seats? I read on IRV2 that shop4seats quality is poor.

I have been to the Shop4Seats facility in So. California and looked at the many seats/couches they sell. They appeared to be of high quality. If you are in the So. Calif area, you can also look at them before deciding who is better.

We went through Recpro on our theater seats. We're just over two years old and the seam in the one seat let go and has a eight inch gap or so. About a month after the warranty was up. I sent a few emails back and forth and by the time we got home from our trip a new seat and back were waiting for us. Can't complain about that!

I bought ne driver/passenger seats from Shop4Seats right at the beginning of COVID. Took several months to get them at the time and they screwed up the order as I added a lumbar support to the drivers seat and a seat heater to the passenger seat. They put both add-ons in the passenger seat.

BUT:

They paid for shipping the drivers seat back to California and turned it around in under two weeks from when it left Florida.

4 years later the seats still look as new as the day we installed them and ride a whole lot more comfortable than the OEM seats from Thor.

Thanks, keep the comments coming. Shop4seats website lists a showroom in Cibolo Texas which is about 100 miles from me. Might be worth a day trip.

You don’t say which seats you are looking for. I just replaced the jackknife sofa in our 29M with RecPro dual power recliners with fabric upholstery. We have not used them much yet but so far quality and workmanship looks good.

I was asking about shop4seats quality, not recpro. I'm leaning towards recpro captains chairs to replace the rotten pleather captains chairs in my 29M.

Shop4seats

We replaced driver, passenger, couch, recliner and dinette with Shop4Seats. Went to the factory in LaHabra, CA to look first and then order. They have a discount for quantity The replacement furniture was available in the exact same shade as what was in the coach, so it matched the decore. We too bought ours during Covid and had a long wait for deliivery. No problems with any of them so far...

We stopped in TX a couple of years ago and they only had 2 or 3. It's just a corner in a store like a sideline. U might want to call to see if it's worth your trip or not.

This spring we replaced the jackknife sofa with theater seating from Bradd and Hall. Great customer service, not the cheapest but appears to be great quality

We then opted to have a local upholstery shop redo the dinette and captains chairs with new padding and marine quality fabric.

No major trips but very happy so far!

I replaced the Jack knife sofa with 68” recliners 4 years ago. They get the most use. Still look brand new.

Did it take long for Bradd and Hall to get the theater seats in for you, or were they available in stock?
