Howdy all.

Not new to RVing but new to the Class A experience. Recently purchased a 2011 Serrano 31X. Overall pretty happy with it though there is an adjustment after several decades of Class C gas.

I'm reaching out in hope that someone can tell me where I can find the AC breaker for the refrigerator or counsel me on a resolution. The issue is that while camping this weekend the fridge stopped work on AC shore power and the Mirage AC awning would also not retract along with the power plug located at the pax side of the cab under the dash also being dead. All three worked at some point while at the campground.

I checked all the AC breakers at the foot of the bed and flipped them multiple times and made sure they were seated. (none actually say refrigerator). I checked all the DC fuses at the bed and under the coach next to the battery. All are good.

I feel since everything worked fine and three completely different components all stopped functioning simultaneously the issues all related. Logically I feel there must be a breaker or reset given that all these components are grouped in the same area of the coach.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have an inverter? Sounds like maye an inverter pass-through or wiring issue. If not, pull that non-functioning outlet and check for 120 VAC in and out.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Theoretically I am supposed to have an onboard inverter. At least according to the manual Four Winds supplied which states the diesel version does but I can't find it and the inverter control panel itself that operates it as per the manual and is supposedly located over the entry door doesn't exist.

I have also tested all the affected plugs which is how I confirmed I have no voltage.

Receptacle are daisy chained from the breaker. A fault/bad wiring in one affects all receptacle downstream of it. Without removing the receptacle or, in the case of many RVs, getting to the connections in the back you will not find where the problem is. If that is beyond your expertise I recommend you hire an RV mobile tech or an electrician to troubleshoot your issue.

On our Serrano we experienced a similar problem. The culprit was traced to one of the many plastic Molex connectors that they used on the AC wiring. The wires are pinched into the connectors to make contact and that solid no. 14 wire is very stubborn when you are trying to pinch through the insulation. These connectors are used in line in hard to get to spots rather than running a direct AC line to a receptacle. Also since the wire is so stiff, just moving the connector can cause it to disconnect.
