OurRedwood 36RLhas a sewer hose storage area that is enclosed. The hose stays connected to the outlet and is available to hook up by taking the cap off the storage tube and pulling the hose out. There is a limited amount of storage space available which limits the length of hose that can be pulled from the tube. Does anyone have suggestions as to what type, brandand length hose worked best for them?

I attached a 10' section for the enclosed part and use the heavy duty Rhino style for the exposed portion. There are several style and options depending on where you are parked at the time.

I shortened a Rhino hose enough to fit into the tube enclosure. I had to trim the tabs off the orange collar so that it would fit into the tube.Ialso have an additional 10' extension of Rhino hose just in case.
I keep the cap (plug) installed on the Rhino hose so it doesn't leak inside the tube.
The location of the campsite's sewer hookup determines whether I can just switch out the orange collar for the sewer elbow or add the 10' section.

Talking about sewer hook ups. We have just ordered a 36rl and with it comes the sewer swing arm (Great). But for the most part we season at a campground with bi-weekly sewer dumps. On our present rig they hook up to the bayonet connection, but with the sewer arm you have whole different connection on the hose end. Is there a bayonet fitting for that end to solve this potential problem?

I don't know what fitting is currently at the business end of your sewer hose is but Thetford and Camco make a variety of hose adapters. Good luck.

Well yestereday we received our Campingworld master catalog and yahooooo in the dump hose section there were not one but three versions with bayonet fittings on the business end. Plus almost any other configuration that you could dream up. Thanks again forumJay and Linda
