Slide Adjustment Needed?

The single super slide on my 2012 Crossroads Sunset Trail RE30 just started scraping into my linoleum, actually it is one of the screws that holds the bottom rail and it is tight. The discoloration in the pictures of the scraping is due to me adding some glue into the groove to prevent the linoleum from peeling up if scuffed. Does anyone know of an adjustment on the slide or is this just normal wear and tear on the slide mechanism?

It would help now what type of slide. Many different types of mechanisms.
-most use rollers, slide ski's. get some pics of under slide (outside).
-and mechanism that drives slide (gears and such)

Do you know the type slide system you have. Does it have cables on the side? Does it have tracks on the side or arms under the slide floor? Each one adjusts differently. Let us know.

It appears my slide is a Schwintek with worm gears. I viewed a youtube video by MyRVWorks.com and it seems a bit complex. I was hoping for a simple adjustment option to tilt the room down at the back so the screw on the front rail is not digging into the linoleum.

I had a Schwintek slide in my previous camper, and the slide had floor rollers to support the inner slide floor.
There have been reports of these rollers sagging or failing, and causing problems. Check to see if the slide goes in all the way, square to the outside wall, that may be a clue that a roller has failed.
You are going to have to inspect the underside of the slide to see why there is a screw protruding or roller broken.
There is also a repair available that amounts to a metal 'ski' on each side for the floor roller to ride on so it doesn't sink into the slide floor.

Thanks Doug. I have been tied up with other things and just now getting back to this issue. I looked for any rollers on my slide that might protect the inside flooring and I do not find such rollers. From what I have read, the only way to adjust the vertical positioning is to remove the the H framing rails and attempt to realign. Before I tackle such a major task, I am first going to see if I can replace the screw that is scraping my flooring with a screw with a larger diameter head and yet with a lower profile head in hopes it might glide easier over the flooring. This is a long shot, but not difficult or pricey. You would think the engineers could have come up with a simple way to make adjustments on these slides!
