I have slide in slide on3921 2017 RW I always let the big slide out then then small. Bring in small slide first then big slide. Have not had any problems.

Not sure if it really matter what one is first but be sure to level the camper first. Then push the button in and hold it down until its all the way in or out . These slide motors count how many turns they make to keep in sync side to side. if you keep bumping it in or out they cant keep count and will cause the slide to kick on a angle on the way in or out. also have the coach plugged into the truck or shore power so there is plenty of power available for the motors. If your using the truck have it running but its still not as much power as having the 90 amp converter powered up.

When we ordered our 38RL my dealer did not order the slide in slide topper, but the BR slide has it. If I retract the larger one first, it dumps its crud on top of the slide in slide!

Double Slide

We always put big one out first then the small one. Bringing it in, we do small one first and then the big one. The only time we had any trouble was when we tried to bring the big one in first. It hung up because there was too much weight hanging out there. That's when we learned.:)

That is exactly the same process I follow.... for the same reason.... Otherwise you have to get up on a ladder or on the roof to ensure that there is not debris on the smaller slide when you bring it in, which will damage your seals or prevent the slide from fully retracting.
