And this is the ONE thing that I hoped the new forum structure would solve. Nothing like NOT fixing what is really broke.

If Crossroads doen't stop these massive spam attacks this site will become worthless. I for one, am not going to wade through line after line of spam to get to the threads I am interested in. There are other sites that don't put up with this garbage and have the info I am looking for.

I guess we will see how long it takes for the forum admin to delete the post and the user. CR has become a target for these spammers and until they can get an admin to watch the post closely we will get hit a time or two.

The sad thing is the spammer??? was on here for two to three hours this morning still posting. The sad part is in the time they were on they went from beginner to seasoned camper with four stars

I finally waded through all of it, finding all the "legitimate posts". Its like an all you can eat spam buffet!!!!

I'll bet whom ever CR has administering the forum had their eyes opened when they got in here and seen the mess.

They need to enlist a couple moderators. Simply a couple of responsible, active members. Give them the power to move or delete posts, and ban spammers. Works good on other forums. Since the Crossroads staff is so inactive here, they can't be expected to respond to reported posts.
I picture the staff computer, a dusty old IBM in the Janitors closet that gets fired up once a month to check the forum, wether it needs it or not!
