I am having a hard time locating a spare tire cover for our Windsport 29M.
We measured the width of the tire (with rim). 34 Inches.
Our tire is mounted on the rear of our coach.
Tire 245/70/19.5.
Please excuse dirty rim. We purchased a new tire on a used rim.
Secondly:
We now need to move location of tag. It is behind tire.
Thank you

Spare tire

Looks like you have the same set up I have on my 2019 Hurricane. I purchased the tire cover on Amazon. I moved the license plate to the left of the tire with an aftermarket install I purchased at AutoZone, mounted just below the tail lights.I moved the light also. Was plenty of length on the wire. Took less than an hour.:)

Good point is to move the license plate light also.....some jurisdictions might ticket or at least stop you for an unlit rear plate.

I got my 33 inch tire cover to fit the Goodyear 245/70-19.5 tire from Pike Marine (Amazon). The DW (retired interior designer) wanted a cover that matched the coach's partial paint. The closest I could fine was this tan one. It is almost four years and holding up well in the Texas heat. I moved the rear license plate to the bottom rung of the ladder with a couple LED plate bolts and modified the four wire adapter for the dolly to plug into the LED lights wires.

Why a spare tire? Did you also buy a jack capable of lifting the rear of the coach? Chocks to secure the wheels when coach is lifted? How about lug wrench and torque wrench? To me, it seems like a lot of expense for something that roadside service will do for me not to mention impingement on storage space and carrying capacity.

Spare tire

Sorry I don’t have a picture. I’ll be home next week and will take one and try and post it.

I don’t plan on changing a tire but if I’m out in the boondocks I at least know I have one for the road service tech😊

We have ON THE ROAD INSURANCE. You have to have a spare tire that can be put on your rig when the destroyed one is removed.

245/70-19.5 tires are only found at tire warehouses not at the dealers. 6.75 x 19.5 10 bolt rims are almost impossible to find except from Ford. The first thing the operator at roadside service company ask when you tell them you have a flat tire is: " Do you have a serviceable, mounted spare tire?" Two of the flats I have had in my 240,000 miles of traveling in an RV where the side wall was ripped open and there was not repairable. It is one thing to wait for 4 hours for someone to come out and change a tire as opposed weighting 4 days for someone to find a tire that will fit and replace it.

Thank you for everyone's help.
I found a tire cover on Amazon. Found a hitch to fit my receiver on the back of the coach. I am now working on light over tag.20191014_133842.jpeg20191014_133835.jpeg

License tag

Here is where I located the tag and light on my 29M Hurricane

Nice. I like it! Unfortunately I cannot make that change. Yours looks real good. We have the same hook up. Did you look at our pics. We need to figure out how to add a light. Suggestions?20191014_203349.jpeg
