Redwood Marketing here - Need your help please!

We're interested in hearing how you use the overhead storage typically located in your living room area? (Often in the slide-outs). What do you typically put in them? What would you like to be able to put in them?

Please reply by August 1st, 2012 and include what model RV you have.

Thank you!

Really? With all the different issues that folks are having with their Redwoods we are worrying about what people put in their cabinets. Perhaps you should study this forum and see that many of the problems many owners have are the same. Perhaps quality control should be more of an issue. Unless this issome kind of a joke or a

We have a 2012 36RL and we use that space to store blankets, pillows, board games, cards, first aid kit and parts that have fallen off of the coach. Edited by: Grandpa

Usually we put lighter items like plastic glasses, games, paper plates for those large parties!!!!! Dvd's. This is a new experience for us to have so much space for storage but we will try to keep it simple. Stuff adds up and weights a lot. We just emptied out our trailer in prep. for picking up our new 2012 36RE so I know how much crap one tends to accumulate and never use.

Sorry folks, but these comments are totally uncalled for. You got that much of a problem with your coach, call Redwood yourself and have it resolved
Just my 2 cents

We have a 36RL, the cabinets above the Tele hold our Wireless Printer and Cradle Point Router, Satellite Receiver, and Booze. The ones over the Recliners hold miscellaneous items and we double the space by using metal storage racks from WalMart. The rear cabinets are the ones we would like to see a shelf added to each side cabinet, similar to whats in the middle cabinet. Because the side cabinets are deeper on the outsides the storage racks don't work well (everything falls off the shelf).

We have storage above our couch in our 36FL. We place batteries, games, electronic cables, sheets/bed linens, books. In our one living room slide out storage we have our computer supplies and misc storage. Perhaps a storage space for a printer along with the associated electrical receptacle.

36Fl - Living Room overhead storage is travel literature, misc manuals, disc golf supplies and small electronics
Bedroom - Overhead storage for cold and foul weather clothing.
We try to keep lighter weight things in the overhead cabinets.

We too have a 36RL and use the cabinets above the window for a medical kit, larger pots and pans. Would like the latches to be stronger... have to bungee them to the keep them closed while traveling. As for the cabinets over the Tv - one is filled with DVD's, another with the DVD player, and the other on with food storage containers. As far as the cabinets over the recliners, they are filled with plastic cups, and our refreshments - really would be nice for the latches to secure more firmly... more bundgee cords. Hope this helps.

Over the recliners MGD 64, Bud Light, Spicy V8 (wife's tomato beer)Beer Nuts, Wine, Message telling me where the Cheese is, Jim Beam, Johnny Walker Red and Black, Jose Quervo Gold, Grey Goose, Sky, Pretzels, Pop Corn and Tabasco Sauce to splash the pop corn with. and packing material to keep the glass from breaking and making the place smell like a bar. Over the dining window bar glassware and extra lignt weight pots and pans and packing materials for glassware. Over TV CD's and cables extra batteries.
Bedroonm xtra blankets, bad weather gear, and linens. Drawer under bed, Beer, more Beer, Beer nuts (sang I'm gettin thirsty

We have a RL and the cabinets above the sofa we put our games. I'd like to put my booze up there but I'm too short and it would slow down my drinking if I had to get a step stool that often.

The cabinets above the recliners we put books and magazines.
