Stove burner issue

The front burner on the stove top is not wanting to stay lit all the time. This is a 2 burner top with the induction cook top.
I thought earlier it might be air in the line but that's not the case since we have been using all the gas appliances for a couple of days now.
The back burner lights no issue, the small front burner when you push down and turn to light will light but as soon as you release the knob it goes out, push back down and it will re-ignite, sometimes if you play with it long enough it will stay lit.
What do I need to look at?

I'm not familiar with your stove top but could the fuel/air mixture be off? To much air and the fuel will not burn.

I was thinking that also, I was just trying it again and if I messed with the knob enough, pushing it down and relighting and moving it around it would stay lit. Could it be with the control valve under the knob, looks like there is a sensor next to the burner could it be that. once it stays lit it burns a perfect flame. I just don't know enough about gas stoves to diagnose the problem.

Have you downloaded the manual from the Thor Owners Site or the hard copy that should have come with your coach.

There is an adjustment for the flow rate that you can try. There is a also a section in the manual that tells you what the flame should look like based on the type of gas and flow.

When it stays lit, it has a good flame, burning as it should. The problem is getting it to stay lit sometimes when you release the knob.

It is possible that when holding the knob, the propanbe flow is higher to promote ignition and then the flow drops to "normal" levels when you release the knob.

I think it would still be worth trying to adjust the flow. Otherwise, you may have a bad control valve and the cooktop would need to be replaced.

Generally, when you have to PUSH a gas knob to light the burner you are bypassing a safety feature to light the stove. This safety feature is most common on ovens with a pilot light - pushing the knob disables the flame sensor to allow gas flow and flame long enough for the sensor to know a flame is present. If the flame disappears, for whatever reason, the sensor sees the cooling and closes the gas supply.

Maybe you need to adjust the sensor position on the burner in question.

I believe I found the issue. The knob was not getting pushed down far enough, I was messing with the knob trying to recreate how I got it to work and pushed down a little harder on the knob, felt a click and it worked stayed lit. I worked the the knob a few more times shutting it off and then lighting again and then let it sit to cool completely down a couple of times and light it again and it works every time now. The valve was a little sticky but seems to be working freely now and lights every time.
Thanks for all the suggestions, if it starts happening again I will just replace that valve.
