Hellllo!
Still learning all the systems of my new '96 Hurricane motorhome.
Today I went to start the stove!
Dohhhhh, it wouldn't light.
I put it on pilot and put a match to the pilot and got that lit, but then when I turn up the knob hoping the rest of the burner would light... got nothing. Bummer.
Any tips on how to fix this?

Here's a fancy video I made showing everything explained above ^ :)

The stove is on top. The oven is what you are trying to light.

You are correct; gas is not flowing to your main burner. Probably something clogged between the knob and the burner; maybe mud daubers got you?

I believe the thermocouple would not allow the pilot to stay lit unless the knob was pushed in continuously. But in 1996, who knows. :whistling:

To light my RV's oven - First I have to lift the stove top burner surround and turn the small gas valve under there, on. Next turn the oven control to pilot light and down on my knees find the hole in the lower burner cover and light the pilot. After about 30 seconds. the oven burner will come on and the oven works perfectly. I had a 40 year old Suburban RV stove in my previous RV and it worked the same way.
