We just purchased a new 2013 Sunset Trail Reserve 26RB double slide travel trailer. We pick it up on Friday. So excited. We traded in a fairly new unit (2011). We are getting ready to retire next yearand we needed a little more space for storage. I hope we like it.

I hope you love it as much as we love our ST28BH. It's a reserve as well and we are really enjoying all the space and luxuries! You'll really enjoy your big outdoor kitchen. Ours is smaller but still does the trick!
Happy Camping and congrats! :)

Good luck with your new RV. You're going to enjoy retirement. We do.

Thanks everyone. I'll post photos once we get it on Friday. The dealer has a campground (Nuwa/Hitchhiker manufacturer/dealer) Chanute, KSand offers it free of charge for two nights to switch your camper stuff.

The outdoor kitchen is what sold me on this unit. We started tent camping when our kids were little and have moved into a couple of fold-outs then to a small travel trailer. I still enjoy preparing meals outside whenever possible so I thought this would be great.

We got our new trailer and I think we are going to like it. We went camping last weekend and enjoyed the space.

We had a sway control (Reese dual-cam) and a round bar weight distributaion hitch added to our new unit. We drove 90 miles back home from the dealership in a lot of wind and big trucks passing us. The new trailer is 1000# heavier and 4 ft longer than our previous trailer. I was driving and didn't notice that it was any harder to pull than the previous trailer. I didn't notice any sway at all in the trailer even when a gust of wind hit us. Also, the trailer seems to ride very level. I think this was a good investment with the new unit.

We are looking at a 2014 Sunset Trail 26rb. Please keep posting your experiences with this unit. We currently own a 27' Pilgrim fifth wheel and have been looking for a unit with more room. Fell in love with the space in this beautiful 5er and are very serious about trading in our unit. Will be interested to hear your opinion once you have experienced some time with yours. Happy Trails.

This is a travel trailer not a 5er...

Nice unit. Hmm - guess the first two letters of the model number mean something

The one we're looking at is Fs26rb. It has the bedroom slide out the front of the unit. New concept that we've never seen before. Sure would like to hear some comments on that.

Happy Trails

Boatingbuddy, small world we are very close I live in Fairfield. I imagine you have been looking at Sky River RV?

Yes we are. Sky Riverin Dublin. Still in the research phase, but getting close.

Cool, we bought ours out of state before Sky River began stocking them. Didn't want to wait 3 months for them to order one. They seem to be the only ones stocking many besides Family RV down south.

We have the 32RL 5er bought new this year in May. We completely have enjoyed it so far! The room is fantastic, the layout is beautiful and all of our friends and family that camp with us call it "The Palace"! It has the nose slide out as you mention which gives the extra room needed in the bedroom. I've found that using a nose stabilizer on the hitch is essential. It really helps stabilize the bedroom. Let me know if there are any specifics you'd like hear about and I'll share all that I can!
