T - Mobile Plan to Charge RV Owners $110/$160 monthly

The joke is gas stations. I drive past stations in our town who really "compete"... :nonono:

One will be $3.39.999 and the next one will be $3.39.999. But fortunately one across town will only be $3.39.999.

They're REALLY in a tough competition!

I am at least 20 miles from my registered home address (not in RV, but SUV) the T Mobile Home Internet Black Box fired up and connected like normal. I even made a financial transaction on ebay. I will take it back home tonight.

So at least I know it is not an immediate shutdown at a new GPS location.

Good test. Thanks.
I think it shuts off at 20.3 miles from the home address!

Right in this area we have a Walmart fuel station/C store that tends to keep others nearby in check.

Ah man I was so close. I am just playing with them now, next time I will go a little bit further and bring it back home, plug it in playing havoc with their GPS algorithm.

I really don't know or care what they may do, if they wish take away what I have crowed so much about, let it be done, but do it and be gone about it.

What I do know is that...

"Our planet is a tiny floating ball in the vast undiscovered Universe with humans and other species that have a relatively limited lifespan. Today, we as humans are alive"

"Today is a gift and why it is called present."

I am enjoying all my presents laughing, loving and cherishing every hour no matter what. Have you heard the saying... you can't shake me the way I feel today, tomorrow I'll feel the same ole way

Many people in our area, with second homes away, bought the mobile t-mobile then brought t-mobile up here. This is because though we have a t-mobile tower within a mile of us, our area was not listed as the $50 t-mobile plan being available.

I signed up for starlink instead. Though theirs was $50 and mine was $500 plus $130 a month, I haven't trusted t-mobile for many years, thought starlink may become a limited legacy product...so I paid more.

I fear their t-mobile days may be over unless our area has been granted access.

So here's a thought:
$600 in equipment and $30 a month gets a starlink subservient.
Should I offer this to my now disabled neighbor at half of my $130 plus the $30¿

Dang Man, a whole 20 miles!

20 miles by land... not by sea. It is some rough terrain around Dallas/Ft. Worth I had to fight my way through. I didn't count em all, but I must have took out 16 cones single handed. I didn't have any food rations, and there were tree limbs all over the place from 80mph winds the previous week. By the time I got to set up my communications to spy on T Mobile network the mosquitos were out. It was just horrible. But my mission was completed as I simply fulfilled the orders I had. I am in Stand down position now waiting next orders, but it would be nice if they send in a boat so I can cruise at sea, with a nice cool breeze drinking cocktails :coolsmiley:

Are you talking about basically hosting a mesh network? Neighbors get their own equipment but don't have to pay full price for service. Instead, they mesh their Starlink with yours and simply cover a portion of the monthly bill?

I think that's a great idea.

I'm seldom in a place where something like that would make sense, but it seems like you are.

Hey verizon just offered me $8.80 per month
100 gb hotspot.

What's the catch???

Hey verizon just offered me $8.80 per month
100 gb hotspot.

Am I eligible to get the $10/month 100 GB Mobile Hotspot perk?
The 100 GB Mobile Hotspot perk can be added to phone lines with our Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus and/or Unlimited Welcome monthly mobile phone plan.

This perk isn't available with home internet plans.

Be sure to read that tiny small print at the bottom of the attached screenshot.

Less than 4 lines? Check the second screenshot.

You won't need, if I go to jail, I am taking the damn Judge with me :coolsmiley:

HERE COMES THE JUDGE!

"Our planet is a tiny floating ball in the vast undiscovered Universe with humans and other species that have a relatively limited lifespan. Today, we as humans are alive"
"Today is a gift 🎁 and why it is called present."

"Often we won't make decisions about what is good, nourishing or important to us because we are worried about how other people might feel. So instead we “set ourselves on fire to keep other people warm”. We allow other people's issues to determine our actions and life choices."

"When our time on this earth is done, money or material things will not matter, but the fun, love, time, and kindness we've given others and our pets will shine and live on forever."

"Love like rain does not choose the grass it falls on"

2nd bill came today since T Mobile announce price increase. no pro price increase yet. I have 6 lines with T Mobile . I only used 60 GB last month on Home Internet. I tried to hard to use as much possible to piss t-mobile off. We basically turned on the TV and just let it stream.

T Mobile is still King unless they wish to fall behind one of their lower rated competitors.

Working fine so far 400 miles from home!

I'll see your 400and raze you 2600. I am currently heading home on a 3000 mile round trip to retrieve my new to me motorhome. Started the trip June 17 and so far, the T-Mobile box the T-Mobile box is working fine. I do run with the box powered up on the generator running. So, if T-Mobile is monitoring me Thay will see the box roaming like a telephone.

An fyi - We traveled from NC to points throughout the west last year with the Verizon home internet device ( white cube). When we got home, plugged it in, it experienced a catastrophic SIM card failure. They sent me a new one. I returned the defective one. Later last year in the fall, had the same happen. Each time I contacted Verizon, we went thru the same troubleshooting steps only to be told the unit needed replaced. Then they dropped the call. I’d wait a week. No replacement unit. I called back 5 times over 2 months. Never got the new unit. I terminated the service and still have the white cube sitting on a shelf in a box. Got T mobile at my office. Now it goes everywhere with me.
BTW- 3 places without Verizon home service were Zion River RV park. A campground in the boonies near Crater Lake. And at Lassen Volcanic. I’ve had T mobile phone service since 2001 (it was Nextel then). The only hot spot they offer me is 10 gigs of 5g for $10 a month. Then goes back to 3g.

Value of 2nd Home Internet Service

Sometime early this morning 7:00AMish, Spectrum's Fiber service at hour home went out. I should note that Spectrum sends emails to the customers notifying them of the outage, however with no internet how do you get the emails :whistling::eek:

In my case, all of my devices simply picked up the Sunstar's Network which is based on T Mobile's Home Internet. I have no idea of how long it will be out, but it is just to show how the switchover was done automatically and the $25/month is really a great deal as long as we have it. It is NOT all about being on some transient road.
