requires a Voice plan and auto pay.
The Home Internet Plan has always required a line, even at $50.
Today Home Internet is $5 more without Auto pay. Not sure what person(s) are wanting to go down to T Mobile store to pay bill every month? I believe they may have just started charging $10 if you have Customer Service process a manual payment?
Regardless, the $30 promo is cheaper than the $50 that most are paying now.
That was the message.
When I signed up originally for $50, I had to have a voice plan too, although I had 5 lines. Thanks to someone alerting me that they had promo going on, I cancelled and returned equipment, I was able to sign up shortly thereafter the for $30 and with my auto pay, I only pay $25.
FWIW, I happened to see this this morning because T Mobile contacted me about an issue they had with my Auto Pay method setup 2 pay cycles back. For whatever reason they fixed the issue, thus crediting my account and turned off my ACH payment method back to Credit card

Then they gave me $20 credit ( for 4 months presumably where they will charge me $5 / mo because I have Credit Card pay method), but they said that sometime over the next 4 months they want me to try to turn on the ACH payment with my bank again. I will likely do tomorrow and just book the $20 profit because right now on my account; T Mobile owes me $20 due to gratuitous credit given in advance. :coolsmiley:
