I do whish the US would adopt the amber light for turn signals standard. That would make it so much easier to wire up the lights on a TOAD like a Fiat 500 if the motorhome and TOAD both had the same light system.

Amber is just a color.

Most cars now use separate turn and brake bulbs

This has made wiring for trailer MORE difficult as most trailer usena common brake/turn signal bulb

BUT, this can be resolved by using a 5-wire to 4-wire conversion module:

The original tail light On my 2018 ACE had two bulbs on each side for turn / brake and could have been wired with one bulb for turn and one bulb for brake but the two high element wires connected to a single feed wire. Usually, the turn indicator is an amber light but My Gladiator both brake are the same light.
