If you are having problems with your tankless water heater (TWH), you might try these tips. First tip, adjust temperature on wall control panel to desired shower temperature and only turn on hot water handle in shower. Second tip, if a low pressure City Water Connection is suspected, shut off or disconnect city water connection and use fresh water tank in RV with water pump - On, . These should help out in most situations. Caution, when you hear beeping from the TWH panel, that is a warning that you are about to get ice cold water, turn handle off or preferably spray shower water away until it warms back up in a few moments. Hope this helps!

Right now, I am dealing with sputtering water that will not stay hot. Are the suggestions possibly shavings in the line? Or is their an adjustment that needs to be made? 2017 Gemini!

Error E1 - Thor Compass

I just took delivery the other day and am troubleshooting a few minor issues. Went out last night to check a few things and when I turned on the power to the coach I started getting a beep from the tankless hot water heater control panel in the bathroom. I went to the panel and it said error E1. My unit is currently winterized and the propane was turned off and no shore power connected but the switch on the heater unit itself was turned on and the little light inside the heater unit (accessed from outside) was on and green. This was also how it was configured when I took delivery but I de-winterized and have spent several days running tests and checking for leaks etc before re-winterizing. (No errors or issues while running tests by the way). But when I came out yesterday this error showed up. I checked the manual and it references this code so when I de-winterize it again this coming weekend to run some more tests I will do what the manual says BUT in the meantime I am wondering if anyone else has had this error show up and what you did to clear it??
Thanks!!!

Believe it or not: that's normal...
Since there's no water in the system: it's just letting you know about it. :thumb:

Even if there is antifreeze in the system it recognizes that it's different than water?

I got the same code last year and was scratching my head.

I dont think it know what liquid is in it but when the water pump is off but you have the HW Tank "on" you will get that error code.

After I winterzied I go outside and turn the HW Tank off and the water pump off so I dont get any codes.

Just turn it back on next season after you flush the system out.
