Television Mount

Does anyone know how the TV is mounted over the fireplace on an Aria 3601? I'd like to see if ithe TV can be raised 1/2 to 1 inch. Unfortunately the LG remote receiver is located on the bottom of the TV (bad design on LG's part) so it ends up behind the sound bar. You need to be a contortionist to change the channel.

If no one has a way to move the TV up, you might want to consider an IR repeater like this one:

I have one of these at the house and it works great. You simply put the receiver where you have line of sight to it and tape the transmitter over the receiver for the TV. My stereo is in a corner away from the TV and I put the receiver on the TV. I just point the remote at the TV and the repeater gets the signal to the stereo.


Not a perfect solution, but it's only $40 and you wouldn't have to get the TV moved.

Ok, so, you got my type "a" personality working. :whistling: I had to do some research on IR repeaters.

You can run this one off of the USB port that is probably on the back of the TV.



This would be a lot easier than the first one I mentioned. It looks like TVs and IR repeaters have come a long way in the 10 years since I put mine in.

TV mount in bedroom

Hi, we have a 2021 Freedom elite with a recessed area in the bedroom to mount a TV. Does anyone know what TV mount to purchase for this? I tried one but the TV is recessed so far I can't get a screwdriver behind it to tighten it down. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
