Yep, your posts are getting thru, just no one has picked up on them. I'm too new to help, but there are lots of experienced guys on this board that may be able to provide guidance. Just give them a little time.
In the mean time, give a look at the wiring to the step moto and verify it is still connected "properly". If it was loose (like mine) something could have snagged it.
