The mysterious Thor Tranquility

I saw a brand new Thor Tranquility today on a Mercedes 2500... but when I look for it online, it doesn't exist.

Does anyone know about the Tranquility? It's a 19ft - very sporty - obviously competing with Revel.

It's a 4x4 built on a 2020 Sprinter. Solar, Lithium batteries (190W), cassette toilet, etc.. Pics and floorplan below. Ours is the "19P" floorplan.

That's the door to the cassette toilet (mini black tank).

Thanks for reply, and for including the Tranquility flyer. That’s a great looking motorhome, which looks even better to me in the profile picture.

The flyer provides good description of lithium package, and what it replaces. Looks like the propane system remains even though propane generator is deleted. Please let us know how the motorhome performs once you’ve had a chance to use it.

The base price is much lower than I expected; given the Mercedes Sprinter 4X4 Diesel chassis and all.

Thor has taken an interesting approach with the Tranquility. It does not appear to be a direct competitor to Winnebago Revel, but it is close and its base price is so much lower that it should do very well.

The Tranquility’s base price is also lower than that of the popular Winnebago Travato. It’s not as spacious but offers off-road capabilities that the Travato lacks. It’s a nice new choice in the camper van segment. Thanks again.

Congratulations on 19P. 19L is a platform bed w/slide trays for storage. Arriving mid May. When does yours arrive?
