Thor 18m scope brake light

Thanks but….

My rig is not an empty van shell. It’s a Thor RV 18m with a full bathroom in the year.

That doesn't change the way the chassis manufacturer installed the taillights. If it is beyond your capability to do, take it to a Thor dealer. A RAM dealer will probably refuse the job.

I have a Tellaro w/rear bath- only way is to go thru the wardrobe (remove bottom drawers, channel is to the R of the masternode in the 20L Tellaro) on pass. side,
On driver's side- remove access panel behind toilet. Channel can be seen thru the opening.

Then find those two 11/16" nuts and remove. I'd use a socket or gear-wrench with ratcheting feature.
The upper ones will be the hardest to reach.
On pass. side, I tore out the POS rear wall, and made a new 1/4" PVC wardrobe rear wall removable with screws
Do that in case you need to access upper one on that side.
Pic (sideways) shows that rear channel to the R of the rear wall (on top of pic)

I'd suggest loosen the nuts and reach in and remove by hand so you don't lose to the bottom. Will need magnet to retrieve if you drop...

Re-install nuts by hand and tighten with wrench.

Helps if you're built like Gumby... Good luck!

I'd be tempted to use a long socket extension, like 9-12" and a lighted mirror to see those special nuts.

Good luck!
