I have prepared the attached checklist and user tips for my son and his family who will be using our 2021 Thor Axis 24.1. It was written specifically for this unit but is applicable to all Axis 24.1 except the Girard and BMPro weren't used on earlier models. It is also applicable to most other models of Axis but the basement compartments will be entirely different.

If we had the Files capability (available on the TrawlerForum site before they changed the software) I would upload it there. Hint, hint!

Use it in conjunction with Ed Felker's document. I will upload newer versions as I make changes.

Enjoy, David

You did not define which is the black tank valve and which is the gray.

I don't see how to work the slide(maybe I missed a chapter)

What to expect from an absorption fridge.
Where the wiper switch is.
Emergency jump button.
Where the water pump switch is.

That the bathroom sink runs into the black tank so watch the usage carefully.

Tire pressures and where the gauge is

Windshield shade usage.
Not to open the emergency window.

The switch by the sink will make the front fan not work.(on a 2018)
Do not close stove cover onto a hot stove(the scuba rule)

How easy it is to twist a key off in a bin lock.

How to jump start if all goes dead(Mine has twice)

That's enough for now.
Let's see who else(and who doesn't) takes the time to read and respond.

See some answers in bold.

Since you don’t have the BMPro, you need to see one to follow

What to expect from an absorption fridge.

Absorption fridges use propane to cool with and very little DC.
Where the wiper switch is.
Emergency jump button.

Both are on the dash
Where the water pump switch is.

The BMPro controls it. I hate that.

That the bathroom sink runs into the black tank so watch the usage carefully.

Tire pressures and where the gauge is

AFAIK, no gauge built in. 75 front and 65 rear
Windshield shade usage.
Switch on the dash
Not to open the emergency window.

The switch by the sink will make the front fan not work.(on a 2018)
Do not close stove cover onto a hot stove(the scuba rule)

How easy it is to twist a key off in a bin lock.

How to jump start if all goes dead(Mine has twice)

I keep a set of cables in the aft compartment, long enough to reach down underneath the passenger side lid to the battery and out the door to connect to another vrhicle

That's enough for now.
Let's see who else(and who doesn't) takes the time to read and respond.

David,
Thanks for taking the time to add your instructions for us. I especially appreciated the section on how to light a fire and enjoy a bourbon!! ;):LOL::thumb::thumb:
