Monday May 14th. Arrived at the Thor Factory Service Center for a list of warranty repair issues Sunday night. Spent the night in their lot and was checked in by a service writer at 7:00am. The told me to expect to have the rig there a few days so I arraigned to get a ride home. (Only 2 hour drive). Will follow up this thread in coming days as repairs unfold to see how things go.

May 23rd. Thor factory service called and said my RV is done and ready to go. I wanted to go over the list of repairs to ensure everything was addressed before I imposed on my son to drive me the 2 hours to pick it up. The man who called insisted they would go over everything when I got there to pick it up. (A siren went off in my head) I sure hope everything is completed. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. I'll update then.

No need for sirens. They do a detailed walk through of every last thing they touched when you pick it up. You'll likely find that they found and fixed things you didn't even know about. (This is from personal experience.)

I agree; I've seen nothing in here to suggest that they would take shortcuts...
Good luck, and let us know how the walk-through ends up! :thumb:

The Pick up!

Ok I picked up the RV from Thor Factory Warranty repair. As you guys said they walked me through everything they did and pointed out a few things they found and took care of as well. Only thing I didn't like was the shower fix. Where the shower wall meets the shower floor the wall had bowed away from the backing wall because the adhesive had failed. (We have never used the shower) The fix? They drilled 5 holes horizontally across where the wall meets the floor and put plastic nut caps over the screw heads😳 The repair looks terrible and spoiled the fit and finish.
The guy who gave the walk through was also the tech who did the repairs. Nice little man who looked like he had 10-15 years on me and I'm 61. I just let it go not wanting to give him grief. It really was a bad way to repair what could have been done with a few brush strokes of adhesive.

Can't wait till my wife (the perfectionist) sees it. Oh good god!
