Morning all,
I didn't realize the thread I was posting about this on was in my welcome thread rather than here in the Class A section, probably get more traction here.
I've been an owner of my coach since February this year, however, my dealer has had it much longer than I have and I felt both my dealership and Thor were dragging their feet.
Got to a point where they had it for over three months to fix the same issues I turned it in for in March after my first trip, and they called me to say they found soft spots on the floor... that I mentioned months ago.... and it would take longer, so, had to cancel my trip...
Here's some context from the other thread:
Anyhow, I agreed to work with the dealer for another 45 days on this before moving to litigation, if needed. Dealership GM said they’re replacing the entire subfloor, all new flooring, etc. big job. Everything else noted so far will also be fixed.
I asked that, when completed, there be a 3rd party inspection by an NVRIA certified inspector and anything findings also fixed immediately. I already have 8 more years of warranty, so not going to ask for more there, but I feel it’s fair to ask for a year or more of roadside assistance/tow coverage.
Any thoughts? Anything I should be asking or asking for? Any parts I should ensure get upgraded as the coach is put back together?

I wish that were all my problems. I had a few little gremlins that I worked through, still some not worked through, but the BIG problem was water intrusion. Both slides have leaked everytime we took it out. I even mentioned to them it was leaking when we were driving on a sunny day...
They replaced all the external seals, twice, but it was a plumbing issue under the bunk beds (where all the grey water goes into the tank) and it was leaking under the slide when closed and has now ruined the subfloor in the front.
The subfloor in the back has soft spots from the window in the back leaking without repair....
Wasn't evident on PDI as A) bright sunny day and they had it under an awning for about a week before I picked it up,the damage was under the flooring.
On top of that all the drawer slides stick, ball bearings falling out of those all over the bus, the mirror over the bathroom sink falls out every time you open it, the bunk bed doors were missing the stop hardware so they just bang around and destroy themselves when you drive, etc. etc. etc. etc.
I paid $1,600 for a "PDI" that they were supposed to go through, I asked for the results of that and was given a work order from a month before I bought the bus for all the problems I noted on my first trip.
So, they KNEW they sold me a defective and failing bus.
