I have a thor scope (dodge promaster)was backing down a steep driveway one of the rear tires went off the pavement (about a 4 inch drop). When I tried to go forward the van would not move as I push on the gas it was as though it had not power. When I put it in park and stepped on the gas peddle it revved up fine. I turned ignition off restarted it put into drive and it still would not move forward. I then put it in reverse heard a little clung then put it in drive and went forward and has driven fine since. Any idea what caused this?
Thanks

Whatever it was probably due to the 4" drop and inability to overcome that going forward or something fell off back there and got caught on that 4" edge, preventing you from moving forward. (see last comment)
Could be sewer tanks bottomed out, or generator if present.
Take a peek back under there to see if any damage occured, or if something is hanging down, before driving anywhere.
On my Tellaro, the black and grey tanks had J-bolts holding the sewer tanks, and were hanging down a lot, and that might be what you hit and got caught on.
I replaced mine with SS turnbuckles instead. (3rd pic was how mine were from dealer) I had to open the lower hook a little in a vise to be able to stay in that lower hole.
If you dropped rear wheels over a curb, and tires are hugging the curb- going forward is nearly impossible- picture an airplane with the wheel chocks still in place- plane can't move under power b/c it has can't get any forward momentum. ( the law of inertia- things not moving tend to stay still, and things in motion tend to stay in motion)
Let us know what you find!
