Tire Minder

I have extensions AND the big pass through sensors for about 15,000 miles.
No problems.
So easy to Check and adjust pressure.
My sensors are off about 5psi but I use them as a differential safeguard and not as a precision instrument. Im not liking it, but it was an easy fix in my head.

Some here have a religious bent about extensions.
It is religious and not fact based.
When asked, they can give no support to their dislike other than dislike and theory.
Mazzillions of people have ran extensions since the first day of the inventions of the first valve.

I have factory extensions on the rear and put some on the front myself but plan on removing them. They've been on about two years and I noticed last week while getting it ready to take in for Kelderman Stage 2 front suspension that one of them was loose but not leaking yet. Without them I need to remove the hub caps to check the air but I am thinking that is probably worth the added effort for the added safety. I am always worried they will come loose on the road.

The other issue you need to consider is that the more times you remove and attach your hubcaps, weakens the clips that hold the hub caps on the wheel. You might have to replace missing hub caps later down the road.

I used to have extenders
And I have a TST pressure system, but the transmitters are all the same I think....

They worked..but I did have some problems. The little thing in the tire valve that pushes in to open either sticks out a bit too far ...and I damaged a few sensors that way....or is down in too deep and the sensors wouldn't read.
I take them off between trips and it was a chore every time getting them all to work. I battled trying to adjust them and putz with them every time.

I eventually trashed all the extenders and for several reasons that was a great thing to do. Everything is so much better without them...in my case anyway

The F53 Chassis I have uses bolts in three places. Chrome cover may come off at some point but the covers will stay on the wheels.
