It looks like my 5 month old head unit has bought the farm (still working on it, but doesn’t look good).

Option 1 is to buy another head unit that does all the same things, or;
Option 2 is to find a dashcam tablet capable of displaying the existing cameras and navigation apps.

Option 2 seems it maybe cheaper and easier, but I don’t think any tablet will have the input for an RCA style connector I would have to find converter.

Any thoughts/ideas are appreciated.

I've never seen a tablet with any video INPUT. Throw that idea away.

Is there a reset button on that head unit? That was frequently a fix with Axerra units. Warranty?

There are Android Auto/Carplay display units that have a backup camera input and mount on the dash. But the BU camera input is usually not RCA.

This is one I bought in November:

Your link was basically what I was looking at, but I would be lacking the ability to connect the switcher output to the device without a converting plug. But I do like that option. Gone are the days of running down to radio shack to see if they even have a way to convert it.

Well, if you know what you have/need, you can usually get the adapter you need from the jungle site. BUT, it's not just a physical connection anymore. You gotta match digital with digital and analog with analog.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out the 12v constant power issue. The radio is not getting power. When I use my voltmeter on the constant wire it jumps between .01 to .9 volts. The voltmeter reads perfectly fine when check the red switch wire.

I cut the constant wire and ran a wire to the chassis battery and the radio booted up right away. So, I have at least confirmed that it is the wire that is the problem.

I can’t determine if I have a bad fuse, because I haven’t been able to determine where that fuse is.

Just to be sure. You know the house batteries have to be ON (in USE) for the radio to get power?

In my 2018 Majestic, I took out the Ford head unit and went with the Clarion FX450. It has Apple Car Play and Andoird auto. Also has a cam input. You'd have to go from the cam input device (rear, left and right if your RV has that) then into the radio. Cheap and efficient.

I couldn't figure out how to run 25 feet of wire from the mirror to the rear, so I went with a wireless
cam powered by the center running light, and an 8 inch tablet in place of the mirror. Works perfect. I ran a usb cable through the trim, around and to the dash plug. Seamless.

Nice solution, thanks
