Is it really that important to use rv toilet paper? What does everybody use and have you ever had any problems when not using rv toilet paper?

On the wrapper of Scott toilet paper it says rv and septic safe. Thats what I use and Ivenever hada problem. It will take little longer to break down then the actual rv paper but I personally hate when in falls apart in the middle of my business.

I have had RV's for over 30yrs and I have never bought RV toilet paper, never needed too, the trick is to use lots of water when you flush, if there is anything solid in the bowl make sure you fill the bowl then flush, I have never had anything plugged up, I also use odorless chemicals, supposed to use one scoop, I use 2, and I always use a cap of calgon water softner to coat the walls in the tank, so I always get a good flush, I have a back flush I use to make sure thae tank stays nice and clean....works for me

As others have said use lots of water. When at a full connection site do not leave the Black valve open. If you do you may end up with a paper mache pyramid that is very difficult to break up and remove. I always wait until the tank is over Â? full then add water until it is almost full before I dump.

All I am certain of is that the job is not done until the paperwork is finished

There's a lot of name brand paper like Scott's that states 'RV Safe'. Whatever you use be sure to use lots of water as others have said
