Recently purchased a 2004 THOR HURRICANE and it is not equipped with trailer brakes, so I need to find out if that system can be installed and which system is best, it also needs new converter for tail/brake lights

Yes, a trailer brake controller can be installed in your RV. Whatever brand/model you choose.
What kind of converter are you talking about?

The converter that separates the turn signals from the brake lights, it is melted and one signal lamp comes on when the brakes are applied.

Trailer connector standard wiring uses combined brake/turn signals.
Some vehicles use separate lights for the brake and turn signals. Those vehicles, if wired aftermarket to pull a trailer, require a "converter" to send the separate signals to a combine brake/turn light on the trailer.
The trailer BRAKE control wire has nothing to do with the signaling.
The F53 chassis is wired to use standard 4 or 7 pin trailer connectors without needing a "converter".
The F53 chassis does not come with a trailer brake controller, but it should have a pigtail under the dash to be able to install one.

I have the P32 chassis with the 8.1 and the 4L-85E trans with 41,000 miles, what can I expect to pay for a brake job front and rear on this workhorse chassis?

Telling you about braks would be a silly guess on our part.
It might need lines and rotors and calipers
Or
It might not need brakes at all.

What makes you think it needs brakes?
My last gm went 160k without brake work.

Well then forget everything I said about The F53 chassis. Seems the Hurricane was built on both the ford and the Workhorse chassis in 2004.

Your brake job cost depends on what needs to be done. Too many variables. Have it inspected and estimated by a truck repair facility.
