We lived in Havasu for many years.
And
I kept an office in Laughlin for many years.
If you Scuba, I know where the only insured paddle wheeler sank in the river...and where the secrets are in havasu and Blankenship bend.
Since you're coming that way;
That hill between you and Kingman is the hill automakers use to establish towing capacity. Might pull it just for fireside topics sake.
People like to take pictures of the gas station in hackberry ong the longest operable stretch of 66, Kingman to ashfork.
Nice burgers at the ugly little burger place in seligman.
No reason for ashfork, but take the business loop. It's two miles...and an education.
No food worth mentioning in all of williams.
Buy fuel at exit 123(where the hackberry 66 route comes back to the 40)or in Williams at the maverick or truckstop on the second exit or get gouged everywhere else.
Williams has excellent tourist shops(and nothing remarkable else). Probably the best shops in the state.
The new neighbor in our little community just opened
Poozeum in Williams.

Tell him the guy with the Behemoth Ranch told you. He won't know me as ducksface.
We want him to succeed.
I'm not a fan of Sedona so you're on our own after the canyon.
