Years back when I first joined this forum there was a thread going that was totally meant to be for this topic.
Maybe we should get a trash thread going again and it will help to keep our other threads a little more on topic.:)
As long as it's kept well mannered and verbally clean we'll let it go.

Have at it guys.

I'll have to say that this is one of the more congenial forums that I follow. Except for the guy who flamed out over his residential fridge, I can't recall seeing any unkind or disrespectful posts here. I love it.

I already had to eat a lot of crow.
I had a 2013 Ford F-150 EcoBoost towing a 34' Koala Super Lite fifth wheel weighing in dry weight of 7200 lbs. I had 42,000 miles on that truck 1/4 of those miles dragging that Koala across the plains (and winds) of Kansas and Nebraska and South Dakota over the highest interstate passes in Colorado. Never missed a lick and did pretty amazing INMO. Therefore I bragged quite a lot to my die-hard Dodge Ram owning son-in-law. Lots of friendly 'trash talking' going on.
It has now come time to get a fiver more conducive to full timing and in turn a truck with a bit more lead in its pants and a little more umph.
I looked long and hard for the 'right' truck and finally settled on a Dodge Ram Cummings diesel. It took a LOT of BBQ sauce to choke down that much crow.
At least I didn't settle for a Chevy/Government Motors.
Ok, I'm done.

Hey Pro,

I have just a little bitty bit more crow for you. Not even a full bite of crow. More like a crow flavored snack cracker.

It's Cummins. No g.

If you're going to be part of the club, you need to get the name right and make sure you don't mess up the secret handshake.

I feel sorry for the Ram owners, they couldn't afford a real truck. And the Chevy/Gmc look nice, but nice doesn't tow. All Ram, Chevy/Gmc trucks don't have the payload capacity that the F150 has and they have to settle for the smaller Rv's. (I'm referring to the half ton pickups)

Half ton. Cute.

The guys I camp with call them "starter kits".

OK, I'll admit I'm broker than a pick-pocket in a nudist camp, but I do have fun.

Dodge/Chrysler since 1978

Dodge/Chrysler owner since 1978. I feel for this guy!

I don't know where he ever came up with the 28MPG figure. I've never seen any claims to that kind of mileage.

Well i rest my case for a ford. Not done with the tin cans with a Cummins in them yet:popcorn:
