TV Antenna COAX Issue

Our tv will not connect to any channels.
So on inspection on the roof we found the coax cable completely rusted off leaving just the tiny wire in the cable sticking into the unit.
Any suggestions of how to remove this thin wire end of the coax so a new end can be installed and connected.

Sounds like you need to replace the connection end. 20 bucks for the kit.
