I am having a new roof installed on my 2017 36RL and am wanting to changeout the original batwing antenna. I would like a low profile antenna. Any suggestions.

I agree. However, I always have the fear of forgetting to lower the batwing before traveling. Since I am getting a new roof I wanted an antenna that I do not have to remember to lower.

They make tags to hang on the crank handle to remind you.
What ever you do, don't get one of those Omni-directional as they really suck for reception.
Some swear by the Jack, I tried the Jack Head that replaced my bat wing and it was a waste of money.
I don't think there is an RV Antenna works as good as the ones used on Stick & Brick Homes.

I had mine changed when I had the new spray on roof done. I don’t see any difference. And by the way, I would never put a rubber roof on again. Went through 3 rubber roofs!

I replaced my batwing antenna with a Winegard Rayzar HDTV antenna. Don't have to raise or lower it. just push a button and it automatically searches for channels.
