TV universal remote

Hey everyone, first time on this forum and a first time travel trailer owner! Bought a Sunset Trail 242bh in April and LOVE it! Had a great summer

However…we cannot find our TV remote! This stinks with winter here and the fact we will be spending more time inside the trailer (we also have 3 young kids).

What are the best universal remotes for the TVs in these trailers? Since they are off-brand TVs I’ve never heard of (nor can I find any info online), I have no idea what to do. Any advice would be appreciated

Almost any universal remote will work. I like to go on Amazon and look at the number of positive reviews for the product I'm interested in. Here is a link.

Great advice from Mark5W as always, OR, since Black Friday is rapidly approaching, maybe buy a replacement TV ?


A remote will run about $15 - $20 which could be a fifth of the price of some LED TV's I've seen advertised recently.

My 253RB's TV has 2 sound zones. Outside and inside. I've not found a Universal Remote that will control 2 zones of sound. Maybe one exists. My remote didn't work. I did an Internet search. Couldn't find one. I contacted my dealer. They sent me a new remote.
